Hello, Welcome to Weavika.

Meet the founder, Anu Mandal, An MBA graduate and proud alumna of NIFT‑Mumbai, with over a decade of experience in the fashion & retail industry. My journey has been woven from threads of design, business, and a deep longing to see the saree reclaim its place — not just as a garment, but as a living heritage.

From my earliest days at NIFT, I learned that every motif, every weave, tells a story. In my years in retail, I’ve seen how modern fashion trends often eclipse our traditions. With Weavika, I want to change that. I believe our sarees can bridge past and future: the finesse of artisan hands, the beauty of regional textiles, and the elegance that today’s wearer seeks.

Weavika is born out of love — for India’s rich textile heritage, for the craftspeople whose skills have shaped it, and for the hope that in coming generations, the saree will be cherished anew. Each piece is more than fabric: it is respect, legacy, artistry — meant to be worn, treasured, passed on.
